BIOGRAPHY

David Yu is a dedicated lawyer originally from Beijing, China, bringing a thoughtful, client-centered approach to every file he takes on. He earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University in 2019 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2025.

During his articling year, David trained at a legal organization focused on improving access to justice across BC. There, he assisted clients from diverse backgrounds and gained experience with unbundled services, remote legal support, and community-oriented practice.

David’s practice today focuses on Family Law, Employment Law, Wills & Estates, Real Estate Law, and Residential Tenancy Law. He combines strong analytical skills with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.

Outside of work, David enjoys table tennis, hiking, and exploring BC’s outdoor spaces.

He believes that mutual respect, clear communication, and transparency are essential to a strong lawyer-client relationship.
